“Better safe than sorry,” says Khairy on Malaysia being cautious to move to endemic phase

Malaysia is adopting a “better safe than sorry” approach before deciding to declare the country’s transition from the Covid-19 pandemic to the endemic phase, said Khairy Jamaluddin. The Health Minister on Friday (Feb 11) said this careful approach included ensuring that Covid-19 cases in Malaysia especially those involving hospital admissions did not continue to surge.
