Croc caught at Sungai Merah bazaar in Sibu

A juvenile crocodile caused some alarm among locals when it sauntered along the Sungai Merah bazaar located on Jalan Igan in Sibu, Sarawak on Sunday (March 26). Sibu Zone 4 Fire and Rescue Station chief Andy Alie said the reptile was captured using canvas and rope before being tied up and brought back to the Sungai Merah Station to be handed over to the Sarawak Forestry Department.
