
Father drowns after rescuing his child from a sinking car in Putatan
A 40-year-old man drowned while rescuing his five-year-old son, who was trapped in a car that fell into a river near Kampung Imbahan, Putatan, Sabah on Sunday (March 26). Search and rescue workers recovered the body of Lasibi Lawadihu along the river on Monday (March 27) morning after he jumped into the river to save his son from the car which rolled down to the river while he was fishing on the river bank on Sunday (March 26).
