Govt steps up promotion to boost export of rubber products

The Plantation and Commodities Ministry through the Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) is actively drawing up and implementing promotional activities to increase the export of high-value rubber products such as rubber gloves, tyres and latex mattresses, said Its deputy minister Datuk Siti Aminah Aching. In replying to a supplementary question from Ledang MP Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh about the government's efforts to increase the involvement of young people in the rubber industry in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (March 27), Siti Aminah said the ministry has implemented various initiatives to improve the knowledge of the youth in estate management.
