
PM: Nearly 125,000 hardcore poor households identified under e-Kasih database
The plan to put a fullstop on hardcore poverty faced by an estimated 130,000 households is expected to be done within this year, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The Prime Minister told the Dewan Rakyat in reply to a question from Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias (BN-Jelebu) on Tuesday (March 28), asking the approach taken by the unity government to eradicate poverty effectively in order to build a "Madani" nation, that the government had taken several measures including the various Rahmah initiatives.
