"That's good. That's good," he smiled and laughed. "That's good. That's nice. But I hear it's amazing so that's fantastic. I think if people are releasing good music and they're happy with the music they're releasing then that's great."

The reporter explains to the British singer that Ariana sings about what she's learned from each of her exes and when quizzed on what she might have learned from him, he replies, "That's not a question for me. I don't tell anyone what they can learn from me."

When asked if he learned anything from her, the 25-year-old was hesitant but added: "I think it's a long time ago so you never, I suppose you just grow as a person don't you? (I) was very, very young when that happened... I've obviously grown up a lot."

The reporter then suggests he should "get back in there" now Ariana is single again, and Nathan responded, "Like I say, it's a long time ago".

In the track, Ariana sings, "Thought I'd end up with Sean / But he wasn't a match / Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh / Even almost got married / And for Pete I'm so thankful / Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm / Cause he was an angel."
