The world is counting down to the nuptials of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry this weekend.

And in a chat with Nova 969's Fitzy and Wippa radio show on Thursday, Amy Schumer revealed that the US actress will have the 'worst wedding'.

'This poor girl,' the comedian told the radio hosts, referencing the pressure and public spectacle the nuptials have become.

'This poor girl. Your wedding everyone says it's your day, right?' Amy, 36, began.

'She's like "No it's not", you have to meet all these foreign dignitaries you've never met before,' the I Feel Pretty actress went on to say of how Meghan may feel on the day.

Amy continued: '[There's] so much pressure. It's like, can you imagine having the worst wedding? That would suck.'

Prince Harry, 33, and Meghan Markle, 36, will tie the knot at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, in England, on Saturday.

Prince William will act as best man, while his children Prince George, four, and Princess Charlottte, three, are also said to be participating in the wedding party.

Harry and Meghan's love story began in July 2016 when the pair instantly hit it off over drinks.

By May 2017, they made their first public appearance as a couple at a polo match.

In early November 2017, Harry proposed to the Suits actress on a quiet night at Nottingham Cottage.

Meghan described the proposal as 'very romantic' in an interview with BBC later that month: 'It was just an amazing surprise. It was so sweet and natural and very romantic.'

Harry revealed just what it will mean for Meghan to enter the royal family: 'For me, it's an added member of the family. It's another team player...we want to carry out the right engagements, the right work.'

He added: 'The fact that I fell in love with Meghan so incredibly quickly was confirmation to me that all the stars were aligned.'
