Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has been through many transformations during his career, from starting out as rookie wrestler Rocky Maivia to becoming a Hollywood action star.

But on Instagram, Wednesday (June 13), Dwayne shared a throwback pic from his days as a member of the Miami Hurricanes football team that had everyone doing a double take.

Posing in his number 94 jersey, Dwayne was looking a little less chiseled than The Rock we know and love.

As he put it, Hobbs and Shaw star Dwayne was "280lbs of Smirky Beefy McBeef ".

The wrestler-turned-actor also revealed in his caption that, back in college, his dream wasn't to become WWE champion or a box office record breaker, it was instead to work for the CIA.

Dwayne was intent on pursing his CIA dreams until his criminal justice professor told him he best get a law degree first, which sadly he didn't quite have the grades for.

"I thought that's a great idea, until I realised no respectable law school would ever let me in with my pile of steaming s--- grades," Dwayne wrote. "End of story."

In other Dwayne Johnson news, earlier this week it was revealed that the People's Champion will be teaming up with Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot for an action thriller due out in 2020. The two previously worked together on Fast and Furious.

Titled Red Notice, the film is described as a globe-trotting heist thriller, which combines action with comedy.
