Olivia Colman and Tobias Menzies cosied up for snaps at a premiere afterparty in London on Wednesday night.

The couple played Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip on The Crown season 3 and 4, and looked thrilled to see each other at the event - which was part of London's BFI Festival.

The event followed the UK premiere of Olivia's new film The Lost Daughter, and took place at Soho House.

Olivia cut an elegant figure for the event in a dark green dress with a houndstooth print.

The garment also featured long sleeves while Olivia paired it with black heels with a diamond embellishment.

Styling her tresses into an updo, she completed her outfit for the star-studded premiere with silver earrings.

The Lost Daughter is a psychological drama written and directed by Maggie, and based on the novel of the same name by Elena Ferrante.

The anticipated movie had its world premiere at the 78th Venice International Film Festival on September 3, where Maggie won the Golden Osella Award for Best Screenplay.

The film also received a four-minute standing ovation from the audience at the Venice Film Festival.

It tells the story of Olivia, as Leda, a college professor, who while on a summer holiday, finds herself becoming obsessed with another woman (Dakota) and her young daughter, prompting memories of her own early motherhood to come back and unravel her.

The Lost Daughter also stars Peter Sarsgaard, Paul Mescal, Ed Harris and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.

Meanwhile, filming for The Crown's fifth season continue, with Princess Diana and Prince Charles actors Elizabeth Debicki and Dominic West seen filming new scenes f in Palma de Mallorca on Tuesday.

Elizabeth, 31, was joined on location by Dominic, 51, as they boarded the prestigious Christina O yacht off shore of the Balearic Island, in scenes recreating the royal pair's family trip to Italy in 1991 - which took place a year before the couple divorced.

During the Nineties, Princess Diana and Prince Charles had embarked on a holiday with their children Prince William and Harry, then eight and six, which saw the family unified for a cruise on Charles' beloved Alexandra yacht, despite the couple being just months away from calling off their marriage.

Child actors Timothee Sambor, 11, and Teddy Hawley, seven, who play the young princes respectively, were seen filming on the boat wearing matching white polo shirts.

The trip will have seen the royals put on a brave face as their marriage began to implode behind the scenes, in a year that saw the pair give their union a last ditch attempt at survival.
