As Gossip Cop has reported, Trump repeatedly tweeted about the Twilight co-stars following their 2012 split.

He wrote at the time, “Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart.

She cheated on him like a dog and will do it again, just watch. He can do much better!”

Trump went on to tweet about the situation a total of 11 times, continuously imploring the actor to cut off contact with Stewart, and even offered him an “open invite” to attend the Miss Universe Pageant.

In a new interview with the German website, WeltN24, to promote his upcoming film, The Lost City of Z, Pattinson briefly spoke about Trump’s concern about his love life.

“I hope he has more interesting things to think about now,” the actor told the outlet with a laugh.

As Gossip Cop reported, Stewart also discussed Trump’s tweets on the “Late Show” earlier this month.

When host Stephen Colbert brought up the many negative comments he said about her, the actress responded, “That’s cool, you know, whatever,” before brushing off her shoulder.

As Gossip Cop also noted, Stewart joked during her “Saturday Night Live” monologue last month that Trump might be “in love” with Pattinson.
