Charlie Puth has got your attention.

The Grammy-nominated pop singer returns with "Attention," a polished, groove-injected first taste from his upcoming sophomore album.

"I know that dress is karma, perfume regret/ You got me thinking 'bout when you were mine/And now I'm all up on ya, what you expect/ But you're not coming home with me tonight,"Puth sings on the new track, which dropped at 11.20pm across all digital music platforms.

The Atlantic artist gave his new recording a push with a pop-up art project in Los Angeles titled "The Attention Room."  Located at 8017 Melrose Avenue, the trippy installation features a LED "infinity tunnel" and designed to replicate the brain's reaction to receiving attention. Naturally,  Puth's new track soundtrack's the experience. Take a virtual wander here.

There's no release date or name yet for Puth's next LP, the follow-up to his platinum-selling debut Nine Track Mind, which carried the top 40 hits "One Call Away," "Marvin Gaye (featuring Meghan Trainor),"and "We Don't Talk Anymore (feat. Selena Gomez)."  Nine Track Mind peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 in February 2016.

Puth will road test new material when he joins Shawn Mendes' Illuminate World Tour, kicking off July 6 at Portland's MODA Center.
