The philosophy here is simple: “Beer is a natural product, let’s keep it that way.” This much-expanded brewery—established in farm buildings in 1978—now produces almost seven million pints annually from its four brands, none of which contains added sugars, colorings, or preservatives. The brewery also operates 15 pubs.


Butcombe Blond

Light and fruity, with a medium bitter finish. Slovenian and Saaz hops create a floral sweetness.


Butcombe Bitter

beer style: Bitter
alcohol content: 4% ABV

Noticeably bitter, with a citrus hop, slight sulfurous nose; light fruit notes and dry finish.
