Freezing Times

Only freeze fresh, top-quality food. The freezing times listed in these charts are the maximum storage times to ensure quality.

Golden rules for freezing

Foods suitable for freezing will freeze well if you follow these rules:

The faster you freeze food, the better and safer the result.

When freezing produce in anything other than small quantities, always use the fast freezer facility.

Freezing times are for maximum storage times at 0°F (-18°C). Adhere to these storage times and aim to use the dated, labeled produce well before these time limits.

Thaw frozen produce in the fridge. Never refreeze food that has already been thawed— it’s not safe.
