Freiherr-von-Aretin-Platz 1, 94501, Aldersbach, Germany

The modern operation seen today grew out of a small brewery attached to a monastery dating from the 13th century. The range of beers has grown over the centuries; white beer started to be brewed in 1928, and today the company produces 13 different styles of beer.

Freiherrn Pils

beer style: Pilsner
alcohol content: 4.5% ABV

Mild bitterness in the hopping. The lightly malted grain results in a dry, fine taste.

Kloster Dunkel

beer style: Dunkel
alcohol content: 5% ABV

Full-bodied and malty, with a typical dark mahogany color; the roasted flavor is due to the dark malts.
