Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu, Marktplatz 1, 72275, Alpirsbach, Germany

A railroad was constructed through the Black Forest at the end of the 19th century, which brought many visitors to the village of Alpirsbach. Johann Gottfried Glauner helped to cater for them by reopening the old village brewery. Sales were good, and today the beer from Alpirsbach is produced by the fourth generation of the family.

Kleiner Mönch

beer style: Lager
alcohol content: 5.2% ABV

The golden color promises a fresh, young beer. It is full-bodied with a flavor of caramel from the malt.

Schwarzes Pils

beer style: Pilsner
alcohol content: 4.9% ABV

Deep red-black color and a strong taste, with a roasted malt aroma that is unmistakable.
