Bucher Bräu

A medium-sized brewery that moved to the heart of the Bavarian Forest in 1982 after outgrowing its premises in the center of Grafenau. It has been owned by the Bucher family since 1863 (now in its fifth generation).

Brewing secret

The natural cloudiness of the Hefeweizen comes from the yeast added at the time of bottling.

Grafenauer Hefeweizen

beer style: Wheat Beer
alcohol content: 5.2% ABV

Fresh and sparkling. The light taste of yeast is fine and aromatic. There is a little sweetness.


beer style: Lager
alcohol content: 4.9% ABV

Clear yellow beer, slightly bitter, with a reasonable sweetness, and a taste of the finest hops. A rather strong but rounded finish.
