The brewery is situated in the heart of the small city of Babenhausen. It was founded in 1815 and has been managed by the Schuberts since 1925. The production is handcrafted, and the master brewer uses the best malts and hops available.

The water comes from a spring in the vicinity of the brewery.


Michelsbräu Hexe
