Klosterbrauerei Reutberg, Am Reutberg 2, 83679, Sachsenkamm, Germany

The monastery at Reutberg started brewing its own beer in the 19th century. In 1901 the Franziskaner monks stopped brewing, but the local people protested. Production started again in 1906, with new machines and cellars. In 1987 a proposed merger with Holzkirchen failed, and Reutberg continues to brew its own beer independently.
