In 1878 the engineers Mahn and Ohlerich acquired the Julius Meyer’sche Bierbrauerei. There followed a highly successful era until the outbreak of World War II. Beck & Co. now own the brewery.

Brewing secret

Since 1991 the brewery has grown year-on-year, and not only due to the Beck connection.

Rostocker Bock

alcohol content: 6.9% ABV

More bitter than other bocks. Full-bodied with malt aromas and a rich caramel taste.

Rostocker Export

alcohol content: 5.5% ABV

Golden colored, the beer has a fine aroma of hops and a slightly flowery bitterness.
