Brewmaster Stefan Rager originally came to Japan to brew at several start-up microbreweries which opened after the 1995 liberalization. Later, with his Japanese wife, he founded a boutique-style brewery on the southern face of Mount Fuji, dedicated to German beer styles. The German Embassy in Tokyo is one of his most loyal customers.

Prinz Pils

beer style: Pilsner
alcohol content: 5.5% ABV

Pale yellow, soft mouthfeel with low carbonation. The subtle flavors are in excellent balance.

Amadeus Doppelbock

beer style: Doppelbock
alcohol content: 8% ABV

Very deep reddish brown, with coffee, toffee, and caramel aromas. Rich tangy malt and high alcohol suggest rum-soaked fruitcake.
