Pete’s Place is an Italian restaurant with a long history of brewing and selling Choc Beer. Choctaw Indians taught injured ex-miner Pete Pritchard how to make native beer with wheat, which he sold illegally during Prohibition at his restaurant. In 1995, under the stewardship of his grandson Joe, Choc Beer at last became a legal brew.
