302 North Plum Street, Lancaster, PA, 17602

Lancaster was once dubbed the “Munich of the United States” and home to 14 breweries, some of which flaunted Prohibition. The last of the originals closed nearly 40 years before Lancaster Brewing opened in 1995. The 19th-century former tobacco warehouse also houses a restaurant serving dishes such as mussels cooked in ale, and beer-battered shrimp.
