Victory Brewing founders Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski—who met on a school bus in 1973—traveled much of the beer world, apprenticed in Germany, and worked in US micro-breweries before starting their own in 1996. The breadth of their interests is reflected in the range of their beers, and their new brewhouse is designed to produce almost any style in a traditional manner. They earned an early reputation for hoppy American beers, and their Belgian-inspired ales are among their most popular.

Brewing secret

Victory has long-term contracts with German hop-growers to assure the availability of authentic ingredients for their lagers.

Spicy hop aromas, hop flavors, and woody bitterness throughout, laid on a firm malt base.
