Step 1 Lie on your back with your legs extended up to 90 degrees angle. Place your hands behind your neck with your elbows wide.
Criss Cross: Step 2
Step 2 Curl your head and shoulders off the mat.
Criss Cross: Step 3
Step 3 Exhale as you cross your left elbow to your right knee.
Criss Cross: Step 4
Step 4 Inhale and rotate your torso to the center.

Step 5 Exhale and cross your right elbow to your left knee.

Progressions & Variations

Beginner Tips

Imagine that there is an "X" between your ribcage and pelvis. Move the bottom of the right side of your ribcage towards the top of your left hipbone. Keep the movement small.
