Step 1 Lie on your side with your hipbones aligned. Bend your top knee and rest your foot or knee in front of your bottom leg.

Step 2 Flex your bottom foot and lift your leg as high as you can.
Inner Thigh Side Lift: Step 3
Step 3 Lower your bottom leg to the mat. Repeat then switch sides.

You can use a wall to help stabilize your torso. Tighten your abdominals to anchor your body throughout the exercise.

Modifications

To modify, rest your top knee on the floor in front of your bottom leg. For an advanced version, straighten your top leg and hover it at hip height as you lower and lift your bottom leg.
