Alternating Sit-up: Step 1
Step 1 Lie face-up on the ground with your knees bent and feet flat. Place your fingertips behind your ears with your elbows pointed out.
Alternating Sit-up: Step 2
Step 2 Sit up and rotate your shoulders. Touch your right elbow to your left knee. Return to the starting position, and alternate sides.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Avoid rounding forward at the shoulders.

Be sure to get full trunk rotation by touching elbow to knee.
