Step 1 Lie flat on your back with arms extended above your head and fingers interlocked. Raise your legs straight up in the air. Your hips and torso should be at a 90-degree angle. This is your starting position.

Crunch Chop: Step 2
Step 2 Crunch upward, opening your legs into a straddle position. "Chop" your arms through your legs at the top of the movement. Pause, then return to starting position.
