Step 2 Explosively stand to push the dumbbells overhead, locking your arms and bracing your core. Slowly lower the weights to the starting position.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Make sure you use the momentum from the quarter squat to help propel the dumbbells upward.

Do not hyperextend your lower back in the lockout position.
