Step 2 Bend elbows and lower body until your chest nearly touches the floor.
Explosive Pushup: Step 3
Step 3 Explosively press yourself up so that your hands leave the floor. Land with your arms extended and reset your body back to starting position.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Do not let the elbows flare out. Keep the elbows close to your sides throughout.

Cushion the landing by slightly bending the elbows.

Keep your core tight and back flat throughout the movement.
