Step 2 Brace the core and bend your elbows to lower the bar behind your head until your forearms go past 90 degrees. Pause, then extend your arms back to the starting position.

Tips

Do not allow your elbows to flare outward on the way up.

Slowly lower the weight behind your head.

Don't use too much weight. You don't need to use a lot of weight for this movement to be effective.
