High Box Jump: Step 1
Step 1 Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart behind a high box. Squat down while simultaneously swinging the arms back in order to generate speed and power.
High Box Jump: Step 2
Step 2 Explosively swing your arms forward and jump onto the box. Land lightly with your feet hip-width apart. Stand tall on top of the box. Then carefully step off the box.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Do not attempt with a box that is too high.

Do not land on your toes or your heels. Make sure to land on the mid-foot with a neutral spine and your chest up.

Avoid landing too hard on the box. Land as softly as possible.
