Hovering Sit-up: Step 1
Step 1 Start by sitting on your backside with your legs extended and your feet and upper back off the floor. Place your hands behind your head for support and balance.
Hovering Sit-up: Step 2
Step 2 Use your abs to crunch up as you simultaneously bring your knees towards your chest. Pause, and then return to the starting position.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Do not place too much tension behind your head or initiate the crunching movement with your elbows.

Do not round your upper back.

Lower your body with control and don't allow your upper back or feet to touch the floor during the exercise.
