Leg Lowering Drill: Step 1
Step 1 Lie face up on the floor with your knees slightly bent. Tighten your abs and raise your legs until they are perpendicular to the floor.
Leg Lowering Drill: Step 2
Step 2 Press your lower back into the floor and lower your legs as close to the ground as you can before reversing the movement to return to the starting position.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Keep your lower back flat against the ground throughout the entire drill.

Do not let your legs drop. Lower them in a controlled motion.

Squeeze your glutes as your lower your leg to help protect your lower back.
