Step 1 Lie on your back with both your hips and knees bent to 90 degrees, making sure that your lower back is pressed into the floor.
Pilates Crunch: Step 2
Step 2 Tighten your abs and exhale as you lift your shoulder blades slightly off the floor. Reach your arms straight down by your side and towards your feet with your palms facing down. Hold in the crunch and pump your arms up and down using small motions.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Do not round your shoulders as you crunch your torso upwards.

Do not loose contraction of your abdominal region anytime throughout exercise.

Do not jut your head forward. Keep your neck aligned with your spine at all times.
