Plank to Stand Up: Step 1
Step 1 Assume a push-up position with your body forming a straight line from your shoulders to your ankles.
Plank to Stand Up: Step 2
Step 2 Step forward with one foot and bring it as close as you can between your hands. Keep your back leg fully extended.
Plank to Stand Up: Step 3
Step 3 Push your weight into your front foot as you stand up out of the lunge. Reverse the movement, returning to the push-up position before repeating with your opposite leg.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Squeeze your abs and glutes while in the plank position for stability.

Do not round your back as you bring your knee between your hands.

Use your front foot to stand up, avoiding using your arms or back leg for support.
