Step 1 Begin in a plank position with your weight resting on your forearms and your body in a completely straight line from your shoulders to your ankles.
Plank with Arm Raise: Step 2
Step 2 Tighten your abs and without letting your hips shift, raise one arm out straight in front of you. Pause, then lower it back to the starting position.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Do not allow your back to round.

Do not allow your torso to sway as you raise your arm.

Squeeze your abs and glutes throughout the movement to provide more stability.
