Step 2 Stand on the leg that's on the opposite side of your arm holding the dumbbell. Keeping a slight bend in your knee, push your hips back and reach the weight in your hand diagonally towards your ankle. Pause, and then return to the starting position.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Avoid rounding your back as you lower your body towards the floor.

The movement should occur at your hips, not at your knees. Sink your weight back onto your heels throughout the exercise.

Keep your head in line with your spine at all times.
