Step 1 Sit on a bench with an upright back support. Grab a pair of dumbbells and place them on your knees.

Step 2 Raise the dumbbells to your shoulders.
Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press: Step 3
Step 3 Gripping the dumbbells firmly, press them overhead until your elbows are completely locked out. Pause, and then slowly lower the weight back to the starting position.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Avoid lowering the dumbbells too far. Once they have reached your collarbone, press them back overhead.
