Step 1 Lie on your side with your bottom elbow on a Bosu ball and with your feet staggered on the ground. Your top foot should be in front of your bottom foot.

Step 2 Raise your hips so that they're off the ground and your body forms a straight line from your ankles to your shoulders. Hold, return to starting position.

Tips

Avoid allowing your torso to bend during the exercise. Try to keep your body in a straight line the entire time.

Do not let the hips sag during the side plank. Keep your core engaged and your hips up the entire time.
