Step 2 Without bending your knee, raise the lifted leg out to the side of the body. Then bring your leg back down and cross your foot in front of the standing leg as far as you can, keeping both legs straight.

Progressions & Variations

Tips

Avoid letting your torso bend to the side as you raise your leg. Stand tall.

Don't forget to activate your glutes. Squeeze them as you raise your leg to the side.
