Waist-slimming Squat: Step 1
Step 1 Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart while holding the ends of a dumbbell.
Waist-slimming Squat: Step 2
Step 2 Squat down while keeping your heels flat on the ground, chest up, hips back and knees out. Bring the dumbbell to the outside of one hip.
Waist-slimming Squat: Step 3
Step 3 Stand and bring the dumbbell across your body. Lift your arms and turn your torso toward the dumbbell. Pivot your foot and lift your opposite heel off the floor while rotating that hip. Finish with the dumbbell at shoulder height. Reverse the movement and return to the starting position.

Tips

As you swing the dumbbell diagonally across your body, be sure to pivot on your back leg.
