Breath of Fire: Step 1
Step 1 Begin in Easy Seat and close your eyes.
Breath of Fire: Step 2
Step 2 Rest your palms on your thighs and close your mouth.
Breath of Fire: Step 3
Step 3 Take a big inhale through your nose and exhale out of your nose. At the bottom of your exhale, snap your navel to your spine, expelling any remaining air out of your nose.
Breath of Fire: Step 4
Step 4 Release your navel and repeat. Keep pumping your navel to the spine, making forceful exhales through your nose. The inhales will take care of themselves as you release your navel. Keep with these short, sharp exhales (it will sound like an old locomotive train), in rhythm for three minutes (work your way up to five to 15 minutes as you get used to it), and then resume regular breathing.
