Hero’s Pose: Step 1
Step 1 Begin in a kneeling seated position.
Hero’s Pose: Step 2
Step 2 Place your palms on the ground in front of you and lift your hips slightly so that your can wing your heels out to either side.
Hero’s Pose: Step 3
Step 3 Gently replace your sitz bones down so that you're sitting inside of your heels, with the tops of your feet on the ground.
Hero’s Pose: Step 4
Step 4 Lengthen through your spine, knit your front ribs in.

Benefits

Opens tops of thighs, knees, ankles, tops of feet.

Modifications
