Step 1 Begin kneeling on your shins with your hips lifted so that your hips are over your knees and the tops of your feet on the ground.

Step 4 Softly release your hands and then your head to the ground.

Step 5 Crawl your hands back until the left hand takes a hold of the left foot and the right hand takes a hold of the right foot. Do not allow your knees go wider than hip's distance apart; this protects your lower back. Breathe here for at least three deep breaths, and then slowly come out, reversing out and using your core to evenly come up, if possible.

Do this pose with your back to a wall so that you can crawl your hands down one at a time, and breathe wherever it is comfortable for you. Don't force yourself beyond where your body is ready to go.
