Step 1 Begin in Thunderbolt Pose with your eyes closed. Focus your attention on your perineum. Take a big inhalation and at the top, retain your breath, lengthen your tailbone down, and contract the muscles of the perineum and those that you would use if you had to pee, and contract the lower belly. Hold this for five seconds, and gently release. Always practice Mula Bandha when you retain your breath at the top of the inhale.
