Step 3 Lift your hips and lengthen both of your legs. Your hands stay on the ground on either side of your right leg.

Step 4 Spin your back heel down so that your foot is at a 45-degree angle and square off your hips. Breathe here for at least three deep breaths and then repeat with the left foot forward.

Modifications

For less intensity, spin onto the ball of the back foot. For more intensity, keep the back foot down and take your hands into reverse prayer.
