It was only after she gave birth her to her daughter Harley that the young mum decided to turn her life around.

‘I wanted her to look up to me and admire me,’ she told Cosmopolitan.

How did she do it? Kassidy, who is now studying to be a personal trainer has shared her secrets with her now 10,000 Instagram followers. These are her tips below…

She began to drink 16 cups of water a day.

2. Keep it simple

Kassidy reveals she mainly eats chicken, tuna, turkey, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains and doesn’t really believe in diets.

‘That’s where the difference between diet and lifestyle come in,” she shared on Instagram.

‘If this were a diet, I would have completely failed. Since this is a lifestyle, I just pick up where I left off and keep going. It’s not going to be smooth or easy. You might have a cheat meal or a cheat month. Either way, pick yourself up and keep going.’

She doesn’t spend her days counting calories but rather just eats the right foods until she feels full.

‘I feel like I know what my body needs, so I eat accordingly,” she wrote. “Counting calories and macros would get me results quicker, but it causes me too much stress right now.’

4. Meal prep is key

She always prepares a week’s worth of meals every Sunday night. Kassidy says she thinks of food as fuel and eats very similar meals each day.

Kassidy says she never enjoyed gym sessions at the beginning. And often doesn’t feel like going. But she says if you stick to it, it gets easier.

‘You keep staring at the scale and eating good wondering when you’ll see what you’re working for,’ she said. ‘Then, once you start seeing results , it’s becomes an addiction. Some days you won’t want to go, GO ANYWAY. The days you overcome are the days that count the most!’
