There's only one thing that could leave a less satisfied taste in the mouth - a sip of warm wine.

What do you do? If you add ice cubes then the wine will become diluted as they melt. Luckily, there is a trick that will cool your wine and keep it tasting just as great - it looks lovely, too.

All you have to do is add frozen grapes to your glass. They immediately cool down the drink without diluting the liquid. Just store a bunch of grapes in the freezer, and use them as your alternative to ice cubes.

'Ice is fine, but it dilutes the wine, and nobody wants that. Frozen grapes keep their (frozen) juice inside the grape, so there is very little dilution or flavour transfer taking place.

'It's best done by putting a few frozen grapes (two or three) into the glass, and swirling the glass around. The effects are almost immediate.'

The added bonus is that, once the wine has been drank and the grapes have defrosted, you're left with a fruity nibble.
