Be Stable. Stand Strong

Balance poses to help you learn control.

This routine starts from the ground up to improve balance and build strength in your lower body. The entire routine is standing and you'll start by opening up your feet. A series of challenging balance poses will help build stability. For these, find a steady point to gaze at (a "drishti") and keep your supporting leg soft. Soft, rather than stiff, knees make it easier to balance.

Safety Warning

If you feel any pain or discomfort, check your alignment, back off a little, or stop. Avoid locking your knees.
