Who needs a beach proposal or a Disney Land proposal when you have a halal snack pack proposal? It has certainly proved itself to be a versatile takeaway option.

Gone are days of the modest proposals when a man would get down on one knee, maybe after a romantic dinner and maybe accompanied by a bunch of flowers. Thanks to social media the pressure to 'up the ante' with innovative and unconventional methods for proposing is never ending.

This man didn't want to let the love of his life down in the showman ship department, so he partnered up with his favourite kebab shop, asking them to hide the ring in a halal snack pack.

I donner-o about you, but I feel this is not a proposal that would make everyone weak at the knees (for the right reasons), but reports confirm that the woman in question did indeed says yes and was blown away by the unique and thoughtful method.

The store too was more than happy to play a part in the couple's romantic story.

They posted the following image on social media which has since started to spread like wild fire, with most people praising the man and asking their partners why they hadn't come up with the idea.

What would you do if your partner hid your ring in your favorite takeaway food?

You can't deny it's a pretty brave move and it could all go wrong very easily.
